Hello everyone! On Sunday my boyfriend and I took a day trip to New York City. Since we live in New Jersey it’s only an hour train ride away. I like to go to the city every once in a while especially around Christmas/New Years. Unfortunately we couldn’t go during the holidays but it doesn’t even matter because the weather was absolutely perfect for walking around.

The first stop on our list was the 230 Fifth Rooftop bar/penthouse. If you are not familiar with this location, they are known for their heated & transparent igloos (November- May) and spectacular view of the city. We went their last year for the first time and I fell in love with the place. On Sunday we decided to go for their brunch buffet which I highly recommend (Its $29 a person). There is no minimums or entry fee required which is great! You can sit inside in their lounge or inside one of the igloos.

Our next stop was the Westfield Trade Center Mall. It’s right next to the World Trade Center Memorial & Freedom Tower which is a must see if you visit the city. The mall was so cool, definitely a place to add to your must-see list. It has both luxury and regular stores, along with coffee shops and Eataly. Eataly is an Italian market and restaurant in one. That’s where we had dinner, of course we both got pasta!

Before we had dinner we stepped outside to visit the World Trade Center Memorial which was a humbling experience. After that we went across the street to this section with all these crazy art walls. So obviously I need some photos lol. Overall it was a great day and we had a lot of fun!

I hope you enjoyed this post and until next time xoxo
