If you suffer from migraines, nausea, or are just anxious and stressed than this is the post for you. As a headache suffer I sometimes get nauseous and for a while I debated trying essential oils. If you aren’t familiar with aromatherapy it’s a line at Bath & Body Works. They sell a range of different scents in different forms such as lotions, oils, soaps, sprays, etc.
I first tried the Eucalyptus & Spearmint scent in the lotion form and really liked it. While suffering from a migraine and nausea I would put some on and just take deep breathes while smelling the lotion. I than decided it was time to buy actual essential oils. Note I do take medicine when I don’t feel good but essential oils help the process. I know there are many different kinds out there but these ones were easily accessible. A few weeks ago I purchased the Lavender & Cedarwood because I find myself getting anxious and stressed at times to the point where I feel myself getting worked up.
BENEFITS OF STRESS RELIEF
Eucalyptus Essential Oil clears the mind. Spearmint Essential Oil soothes & uplifts. Usage- Roll on body, especially wrists, whenever you need to relax and unwind. Breathe deeply for best results.
Health Benefits of the scent – help alleviate symptoms of nausea, indigestion gas, headache toothache, cramps, and sore throat.
What I love about these is that they are small and you can easily travel with them. I keep them in my makeup bag that way I have them wherever I go.
BENEFITS OF SLEEP
Lavender Essential Oil inspires tranquility. Cedarwood Essential Oil helps calm the mind.
Health Benefits of the scent- reduce anxiety and emotional stress, improve sleep, immune-boosting, and antiviral, and relieve pain.
I find that these really help when I need them. I think it all comes down to taking deep breathes and really calming your mind and body. Bath & Body works came out with some new scents and products that I’m interested in. If I purchase them I will definitely make another post. I’ve wanted to make this post for a while now because I know essential oils are popular. It all comes down to soothing your mind so if you haven’t tried essential oils yet go test them out!
I hope you enjoyed this post and until next time xoxo
