Hair Tools/Products I Use

Hey everyone, today I’m sharing with you the hair tools/products Im using. I haven’t done a hair post in a while so I thought it was time. I’ve used so many different styling tools over the years and I think it’s safe to say I finally found ones that are worth the money!

DRYBAR PRODUCTS I OWN:

Buttercup Blow Dryer

The Wrap Party Styling Wand

The Morning After Shower Cap

Hold Me Hair Clips

The Tiny Tress Press

Slumber Party Silk Pillowcase

Sparkling Soda Shine Mist

I didn’t realize how much DryBar my mom and I both have until I typed all that lol. I want to quickly mention the shower cap and pillowcase since I’m talking about hair products. I’ve been using them for a long time now and I love both products! The shower cap is lined with terry cloth so no hair gets wet, plus you can throw it in the washer and it won’t get ruined. The pillowcase allows hair to glide smoothly over the surface, preventing friction, which causes breakage, frizz, and bedhead.

THE BLOW DRYER:

I love this blow dyer because it’s so light weight! Nothing is worse then a heavy blow dryer when trying to style your hair. It’s also drys the hair quicker. It takes 20% less time than most professional dryers. This blow dyer has 4.1 out of 5 stars on Sephora.com. It honestly makes blow drying more enjoyable because of how light and quick it is.

THE WAND

If there’s one styling tool that I’m very picky about, it’s a curling iron. I don’t like my curls too loose or too tight. This wand is perfect for what I want to achieve because of the shape. It has a reverse-taper, no slip barrel. The temperature goes up to 450 degrees which is what I use. It has a digital temperature control.  So you’ll know when its ready because it starts at 200 degrees and within a few seconds it’ll be at your desired temperature by showing you the degrees on a little screen.

MY PROCESS:

So when it comes to actually styling my hair I first brush it out while its damp. I then apply the High Dive crème throughout my hair. I’ll then go and blow dry it using my brush just to get rid of frizz and smooth it out. Once that’s done I’ll section my hair off, and spray the dry shampoo on the section I’m about to curl. Once I curl a piece I’ll hold the curl for a few seconds in my hand to let it cool down that way the curl keeps it shape and lasts longer. When that’s all complete I spray the dry shampoo all over for more of a hold. I’ll then put my hair in a low pony tail and go to bed.

I only do my hair 2-3 times a week. Once I style it I won’t touch it again until it’s time to wash it.

STYLING TOOLS:

As for the styling products I’m always switching it up but this is what I’ve been using as of lately.

Oribe- Gold Lust Dry Shampoo

R+CO- High Dive Moisture + Shine Crème

Conair- Copper Collection Quick Blow Dry Hair Brush

(For some reason this brush is hardly anywhere to be found online. I got mine from my grocery store!)

High Dive- Formulated to smooth and seal the hair, it moisturizes, softens and drowns out frizz. This product smells really good and it actually lasts. I can still smell it throughout my hair well after styling. I use this on damp hair before blow drying.

Oribe- I obviously use this dry shampoo on days when I have to wash my hair. It gives it what it needs until I can get around to washing it. I also use it while curling my hair. Last time I was at the salon they were using dry shampoo before and after curling my hair to hold the curls. Dry shampoo is more light weight then an actual hairspray thats why I use it while curling my hair. Plus Oribe products smell amazing so you can never go wrong with them.

This was taken this morning after washing my hair last night! I wanted to actually show you what I achieve using those products.

I hope you enjoyed this post and until next time xoxo
