Cookie & Body Ice Cream

Yesterday I was at Sephora waiting in the check out line, and I came across this super cute product. Let me just quickly say that I love the sample size products they have displayed around the checkout line because it allows me to try products out for half the price. I didn’t actually purchase this when I was there because  I wanted the Mint scent but it was sold out…so I left. Couple hours later I went back to purchase the original scent because I realized they were limited edition and I HAD to try this out before its gone.

Its by the brand It’s Skin, for those of you who haven’t heard of it they are a “leading cosmetic brand in Korea that strives to enhance skin’s natural beauty. Developed by dermatologists from Seoul University, the modern skin care solutions combine natural ingredients and state of the art science with innovative and fun packaging”.

I love when cosmetic brands use dessert as inspiration for their products because it’s creative, fun, and lets be real..who doesn’t love dessert?! When I smelled this I was like OMG it smells exactly like ice-cream/ dessert. I smelled the Mint one first and it was like opening up a tub of mint ice-cream. The original is Cookies & Cream, its more subtle then the mint, but still smells just as delicious.

What It Is:

Cookie & Body Ice Cream is a luxurious body cream to moisturize and soften rough hands and body.

What It Does:

Dunked full of cookie chips in a cream. Cookie & Body Ice Cream is rich in nutrients to nourish, refresh, and brighten rough hands and body. Featuring delicious scents and fun cookies and cream packaging to carry wherever you go, each body cream contains soft cookie chip pieces that melt when massaged—leaving skin soft and smooth but never greasy.

What I Thought:

It leaves my skin really soft and smelling good. I love how the cookie pieces just melt into the skin when applying. The scent isn’t overpowering at all, it has a subtle vanilla scent. It absorbs really well and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy. I think for $10 it’s worth trying, and it’ll be such a cute gift for the holidays!

Until next time xoxo
