Recently I have been obsessed  with these 5 products, and I use them every single day. First I’ll start with the beauty blender. I mentioned in a previous post that before I purchased this I didn’t see the point of this sponge that you soak in water and than squeeze out to than apply foundation. Well I’m happy I decided to buy one because my foundation looks a thousand times better now that I apply it with this. It gives my face a flawless airbrush look and it does a way better job at covering up little imperfections. I don’t know how I managed before I bought the beauty blender, So if you haven’t purchased one yet I highly recommend you do so. You can find it here: http://www.sephora.com/beautyblender-P228913?skuId=1151869

In a lot of my makeup of the day posts I mention the MAC Keepsakes/ Smokey eyes palette it’s from the heirloom collection , it is an amazing palette. You have your basic colors but also shimmery/ glittery ones. Its the perfect size so you can carry it with you in case you have to touch up your eyes later on in the day plus it comes with a little applicator so no need to carry extra brushes. Next is the MAC single shadow in Corduroy, now let me just say that this color is absolutely amazing! It blends extremely well, it’s crease resistant, highly pigmented, and stays on long. It’s been one of my go to crease colors along with Noble spirit, and Carbon from the Keepsakes palette. You can find both products here:  http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/2222/33060/Products/Eyes/Eye-Kits-and-Palettes/KeepsakesSmoky-Eyes/index.tmpl

Lastly is my two favorite lip products, Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood, and MAC lip liner in Staunchly Stylish. I wanted to purchase another Whirl lip liner but MAC was sold out so they recommended this one. Its’s similar to Whirl except a little darker. Plus this one is the Pro Long wear so it doesn’t budge at all. I actually tried rubbing both swatches off after I took this photo and they would not come off! In other words these two lip products are great together they compliment each other well and they both last through out the day. This has been my go to lip for over a while now and I love it. So if you are interested in both products you can find them here: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/167/17337/Products/Lips/Lip-Pencil/Pro-Longwear-Lip-Pencil/index.tmpl

I bought a beauty blender last year and it’s still sitting in the same packaging as when I bought it…looks like it’s time to get it out and give it a try!

I definitely think it’s time! It’s amazing and once you start using it, you’ll wonder why you haven’t used it sooner!

I think I haven’t used it sooner because I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it and I am still not..do you apply the product directly to it or to your face first and then blend it in?

First you wet it and than squeeze the water out, you want the beauty blender to be damp not soaking wet. I usually squeeze it with a towel to remove extra water. Than you apply your foundation onto the blender and apply it to your face. You don’t really rub it on you sorta of dab and bounce the sponge onto your face!

Okay, thank you so much for explaining that to me 🙂 Now I can finally use it properly…I will use it today once I do my makeup 🙂
